A Slice of Me
Hi, I'm Genesis Campos and I'm aspiring to be the next generation of CTRS's. I'm a student at Texas State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Administration with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation. It is my mission to spread awareness of recreational therapy and educate the public on leisure education. I love this field because I'm not just helping the person physically, but also cognitively, emotionally, and spiritually. It has been a rewarding journey that has led me to my purpose of giving people the chance to experience accessible recreation no matter the disability, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status.
Experience
Camp in Motion - Feb 2020
A day camp for individuals ages 5-20 with mild-to-moderate cerebral palsy and provided modified physical activities.

Adaptive Aquatics - Apr 2018
